Lawnscaping Challenge: One Layer

Hi! I'm back from a brief hiatus from cardmaking. This time I've created a one-layered card. It's a rather fast and fun card to make. If you have yet to try this technique, do give it a go! I'm glad I did. Here's the card!

Penguins are one of my most favourite stamps to buy. It's rather theraputic to stamp so many of them randomly on the card. Oh! I have a weakness for gingerbread man too. Can you spot the two on the card?

Products I used on this card:
Lawn Fawn Stamps Toboggan Together
Lawn Fawn Stamps Holiday Party Animal
Hero Arts Stamps Color Layering Let Love Grow
Tsukineko Momento Tuxedo Black Ink
Tsukineko Versa Magic Inks
Faber Castell Watercolour Pencils

Simon Says Stamp Use A Stamp And Blog Hop Wednesday Challenge

I've been dying to using this stamp and finally I have a chance. Aren't the chicks so adorably chic? I made this card for a friend's birthday. She can draw very well and loves drawing people wearing shades so I have to choose an image with the 'people' wearing sunglasses! I've also used her favourite colours in this card - blue and mint (almost!).  I really had fun creating this card as the cute image makes it so enjoyable. :)

I'm entering this card for the Simon Says Stamp Use A Stamp and Blog Hop Challenge. This image has been stamped using Stamping Bella's One of My Peeps rubber stamps. I love rubber stamps as I think they stamp better. The down side is they are bulkier than clear stamps, but still they are better than wood mounted rubber stamps.

Products I used for this glamorous chicky card:
Stamping Bella Stamp One of My Peeps
Avery Elle Elle-ment Wonky Stitches Die
My Favorite Things Die-namics Brushstroke Birthday Greetings
Tsukineko Momento Tuxedo Black Ink
Faber Castell Watercolour Pencils

Simon Says Stamp Make It Colorful Wednesday Challenge

I made this card for a friend's birthday. She's a fun person who enjoys a good laugh, so I chose an Art Impressions stamp with some seriously funny dancing ladies for the card. I love the humour of many of the Art Impressions stamps!

The card turns out to be pretty colourful, so I decide to take part in the SSS Make It Colorful Wednesday Challenge. Here's the complete card. The ladies are dancing under the stars. Look at their faces. They are so into what they are doing. There's so much passion! Haha!

I stamped and coloured the image with Faber Castell watercolour pencils. I've been using them for my last few projects. I think they are the most convenient to use and I'm too lazy to take out other colouring medium.

Then I put the backdrop together by die-cutting.

Then I fussy cut the image and adhered it onto the backdrop.
