Nativity Scene Christmas Card

I love this stamp set when I first lay my eyes on them. It's so previous. I deciderd to try blending distress inks to create the night sky so that ghe focal point is on the scene It was the first time I tried doing it. It didn't turn out very well but it's ok. I had some tips from some create friends on how to go about it the next time.. I took a few days to complete this card. After creating the night sky, I stamped the nativity scene and left it aside, not knowing what to do next.

A couple of days later, the idea of framing the scne came to me and so I die cut the frame. As it was the birth of a king, I deceided to go fanciful and so, dug out my Spellbinders corner dies to add those fanciful details in the corners. It was quite tough to put this card together as I kept getting stuck on how to proceed. I had to stop for a short while before I could decide on the card base colour before the sentiment and its material.

All in all, I think it has turned out ok, which is what matters in the end. :)

Products I used in this card:
Hero Arts Stamps Greatest Gift
Tim Holtz Distress Inks
